Marrakech → Tizi n'Tichka → Aït Benhaddou → Ouarzazate
Your private driver collects you from your riad or Marrakech Menara Airport. We climb the dramatic Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m) through the High Atlas Mountains, with panoramic photo stops at snow-dusted peaks and remote Berber villages. After breakfast, we drive north through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Enter the fragrant cedar forests of Azrou, where troops of Barbary macaques often approach the roadside. Continue to Ifrane, a decidedly European town known as Morocco's "Little Switzerland" — home to Al-Akhawayn University and famous for its immaculate alpine architecture and clean mountain air. Pass through Immouzer du Kandar, a popular weekend getaway known for its inhabitants' cave dwellings and cool summer climate. Descend to Fès for evening arrival in Morocco's spiritual capital. You will spend one magical night in a luxury desert camp at Erg Chebbi (Day 2), including a sunset camel trek, traditional Berber dinner, campfire entertainment and breakfast. The camp features proper beds, private bathrooms with hot showers and high-quality bedding.
Day 1 is roughly 4–5 hours to Ouarzazate with frequent stops. Day 2 is 5–6 hours to Merzouga. Day 3 is 3–4 hours to Midelt. Day 4 is 4–5 hours to Fès. Your private 4x4 is comfortable and air-conditioned, and the driver adjusts the pace to your preferences.

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) offer the most pleasant temperatures across all regions — from Marrakech to the desert to the Atlas Mountains. May is especially magical in the Rose Valley during the harvest. However, this tour operates year-round.
