A 500 km loop from Marrakech through the Souss Valley to the Atlantic coast — mountains, walled cities and golden beaches.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Marrakech → Taroudant → Agadir
Your private driver collects you from your riad or Marrakech Menara Airport. We leave the ochre city behind and head southwest through the fertile Souss Valley, passing argan forests and banana plantations. Our first stop is Taroudant, the "Little Marrakech" — a walled city with nearly intact ramparts that enclose a maze of souks, craft workshops and gardens. Stroll the medina, admire the Saadian-era walls, and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to Agadir on the Atlantic coast. Check into your beachfront hotel and enjoy your first evening watching the sunset over the bay.
Agadir — Beach, Kasbah & Optional Excursions
After a leisurely breakfast, visit the hilltop Kasbah of Agadir Oufella, the only surviving structure from before the 1960 earthquake, offering sweeping views over the city and ocean. Descend to the modern marina and stroll along the 6-km seafront promenade. Spend the afternoon relaxing on Agadir's famous golden beach or choose an optional excursion: the surf village of Taghazout (30 min north) for fresh fish and Atlantic waves, or Paradise Valley in the Anti-Atlas for emerald swimming pools and palm-fringed canyons. In the evening, explore Souk El Had, one of Morocco's largest markets, for spices, argan oil and local crafts. Overnight in Agadir.
Agadir → Argan Cooperative → Marrakech
On your final day, we leave Agadir and make a stop at a women's argan oil cooperative to see how Morocco's precious "liquid gold" is pressed by hand — with opportunities to purchase authentic cosmetic and culinary argan products. Choose your return route: the dramatic Tizi n'Test mountain pass through the Anti-Atlas with breathtaking gorge views, or the scenic coastal road via Essaouira with its fortified medina and fresh seafood lunch. Either way, you will arrive back in Marrakech by late afternoon, where your driver drops you at your riad or the airport. End of our services.
